Abstract Objective To used to profile changes in gene expression of KB cell after exposed to ionizing radiation.Melhodds ① Inhibitory effect of different dose of radiation on KB cell line growth was analyzed using colony formation test;② Oligo microarray was used to screen the genes showing altered expression compared with control group. Results Data analysis showed 749 genes have been changed after exposed to ionizing radiation, including 269 up-regulated and 480 down-regulated.These genes can be classified into clusters of cell division, nucleic acid synthesis and repair, nucleic acid binding and transcription and apoptosis etc. Conclusion It is suggested that a variety of regulatory pathways in KB cell line were affected by irradiation. And research about the change of the gene express profile could better clarify the mechanism of radiation sensitivity and insensitivity.
