Abstract Objective To observe and analyze the feature and dose-effect relationship of radiation induced DNA damage in human blood lymphocy by the SCGE after irradiated 1day and 22days.Methods The C57BL/6j mice were divided into false irrdiation group and model groups. The radiation-hurt model was induced by 60CO gamma rays (1.0,2.0,4.0 and 8.0 Gy).The changes of lymphocyte DNA damage after irradiated 1day and 22days were detected and analyzed by SCGE.Results The characteristic changes of radiation induced DNA damage in human blood lymphocy was found after irradiated 1day and 22days.The statistically singnificant dose-effect relationship was observed in cl,HDNA,TDNA,CL,TL,HT,TL,TL/HL,TM,OTM assay by the SCGE.The characteristic changes of radiation induced DNA damage after irradiated 22days was particularly notable to after irradiated 1day.Conclusion It is suggested that the anaysis of SCGE could serve as a new radiation biodosimeter after irradiation damage.
