Abstract Objective To provide important basis for the scientific,accurate and effective of use Plumbum block and multleaf collimator in mult fixed fild shapping 3-dimensional conformal radiation therapy;to better handle dose relations of tumor tissues and around normal tissues,so as achieve maximum therapeutic effect and radiation damaged to the minmize the surounding normal tissues and organs.Methods To analyze and compare the fitness of measurement radiation leakage dose rate、marginal dose rate of 1cm of irregular borders,physical penumbra,quality assurance and quality control.The size of tumor planning targetvolume on CT scanning direction which is different from integer times of leaf of MLC of Plumbum block and multleaf collimator and each theraputic time in mult fixed fild shapping three dimensional conformal radiation therapy.Results Plumbum block and multleaf collimator both have different advantages and disadrantages in mult fix fild shapping three dimensional conformal radiation therapy.Conclusion The results of theis study may be used to guide the application of Plumbum block and multleaf collimator in mult fix fild shapping three dimensional conformal radiation therapy.
