Abstract Objective To study morphological change of lymphocyte nuclei in irradiated persons in Chernobyl nuclear accident.Methods Select peripheral blood lymphocytes from irradiated person in the Chernobyl nuclear accident as experiment group to be stained by routine Giemsa method and take 500 cells from each under microscope as samples,observe and record the different pattern morphological changes of lymphocytes nuclei.Results There are lymphocytes nuclei which have tail in the irradiated persons.According to the different morphological features,describe and record 16 different patterns for the lymphocytes nuclei.Conclusion The lymphocytes nuclei which have tail in the irradiated persons and probably a marker of irradiation.
