Diagnostic analysis of radiational thyroid disease |

Abstract Radiational thyroid disease is referred to the primary or secondary thyroid function and/or organic changes caused by internal and/or external irradiation of ionizing radiation on the thyroid and/or other tissues of the body. These include acute radiation thyroiditis, chronic radiation thyroiditis, radiation hypothyroidism, radiation benign thyroid nodules and radiation thyroid cancer. Radiation thyroid diseases mainly occur in accidental irradiation, medical irradiation and occupational irradiation. In order to understand the radiational thyroid disease and its correct diagnosis and treatment, we analyzed the pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, accessory examination, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of radiational thyroid diseases.
