Abstract Objective To observe the short-term curative effect of the concentration of serum soluble interleukin-2 receptor (SIL-2R) and the clinical significance on TDG patients treated with radioiodine (131I).Methods The concentration of SIL-2R/FT3、FT4、TSH was measured with ELISA/RIA in the light of the clinical symptoms and signs. Results Insufficient dose of ATD have some effect in controlling the clinical symptoms and signs, the SIL-2R concentration is higher than that of the fellow-up and control groups;2 months after the treatment with 131I, the clinical symptoms and signs are serious and the concentration of FT3、FT4/SIL-2R is higher than that 4 months later. In the fellow-up group, the clinical symptoms and signs disappearred, the concentration of FT3、FT4、TSH/SIL-2R are normal. Conclusions The immune response are violent on these TDG patients treated with 131I after 2-4 months, the concentration of SIL-2R is higher and the clinical symptoms/signs are more serious treatment with 131I after 2-5 years, the concentration of SIL-2R is normal and the clinical symptoms/signs are disappeared.
