| Thyroid Cancer Patients with Postoperative 131I Treatment Method of Radiation Protection |

Abstract Objective To evaluate the postoperative patients with thyroid cancer 131I treatment method of radiation protection.Methods Randomly selected from November 2014 to January 2016, 125 patients with thyroid cancer, all patients with thyroid cancer surgery, to 131I treatment with radiation protection. Adverse reactions occurred in patients with statistics, comparing patients quality of life before and after radiation protection.Results In 125 patients after 131I treatment for a period of time after the incidence of adverse reactions was 7.20% (9/125), including loss of appetite, nausea, 5 cases (4.00%), much dream, insomnia, 3 cases (2.40%), and parotid gland swelling with mild pain in 1 case (0.80%), after symptomatic treatment, the above adverse reactions are effectively ease or disappear. Protection after the patients' physiological functions, for physical pain and so on, the survival quality score is higher than before protection, statistically significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion In patients with thyroid carcinoma postoperative treatment during 131I to offer effective protective measures can reduce the incidence of adverse reactions and improve the quality of survival, which should be actively explored, summarized and applied clinically.
