Abstract Objective To examine the genetic homozygosity of the IRM-1 mouse bred recently and compare with the IRM-2 and 615 mice to determine IRM-1 mouse genetic characteristics.Methods According to the national stardard GB/T14927.1-2001 and GB/T14927 2-2001 genetic operating instructions,the Akpl etc 25 biochemical markers were detected to observe the genetic homozygosity of the IRM-1 inbred mouse.In addition,the histocompatibility genetic homozygous determination,transplantation experiment between homologous series variant,and hair color test by mating with BALB/c were all carried out.Results All the 25 genetic biochemical markers are homozygote,among which five biochemical markers gene polymorphism sites are different from the IRM-2 mouse,eight biochemical markers gene polymorphism sites are different from the 615 mouse.No dropping graft was found after transplanting 100 days.The coat color genes analysis revealed that hair color of first generation hybrid was wild color,whose gene type was AAbbCCDD.Conclusions The IRM-1 inbred strain mouse is high homozygositous,whose degree has reached international standard.
