Abstract Objective To measure the take voltage and exposure time of diagnostic X-ray machine.Methods It based on the technology of semiconductor and computer.Results A novel digital kVp meter has been developed.Conclusion The meter can measure the quantities such as instantaneous kilovolt (kV) peaks,time-integrated effective kVp,exposure time and heavily filtered radiation wareform with a single exposure.
