Abstract Objective To ensure the accuracy of radionuclide contents in samples measured by HPGe γ spectrometer system, and to improve the expertise of our laboratory technicians.Methods Continuously taking part in the nationwide intercomparison testing on the ability of γ spectrum analysis organized by Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and thoroughly analyzing the results from 2009 to 2016.Results All of the 25 measured values supplied by our laboratory were qualified. The relative deviation ranged from -17.58% to 13.06%.Conclusion The analysis methods applied for radionuclide measurement are appropriate and the reported results are accurate and reliable in our laboratory.
