Abstract Objective To study the effects of peritional macrophyge (PM), alveolar macrophage (AM), and Kupffer cell (KC)on colony forming unite granulacyte/macrophage (CFU-GM)in irradiated mice. Methods Using techniques of hemopoietic progenitors in vitro, the authors studied the effects of three types of macrophages culture supernatant on CFU-GM.Results It is shown that three types of macrophages culture supernatant may stimulate proliferation and differentiation of CFU-GM in irradiated mice, and KC is the best one in comparison to others.Conclution three types of macrophages culture supernatant may protect CFU-GM irradiated mice with KC being the best method.
