Abstract Objective To provide appropriate advice on improving the radiation protection of the interventional radiology staff. Methods Synthesizing the relevant standards and the results of related researches to analyze and discuss the potential implications. Results For interventional radiology staff,the monitoring of the dose to the lens of the eye should be routine. Personal protective equipment should be provided properly, as well as the necessary training. Conclusion The occupational radiation protection of the interventional radiology staff in our country needs to be improved.
