摘要辐射防护是乏燃料后处理厂房中一个重要的设计要求。所有的主工艺厂房均需要考虑放射性对工作人员以及环境的影响。而在普通工业及民用建筑中，均不需要考虑辐射防护要求。这一区别对乏燃料后处理厂房的建筑设计提出了更高的要求。本文从建筑设计的角度，对乏燃料后处理厂房与普通厂房的区别、辐射防护要求与现行建筑设计规范的适配性做出了梳理与分析，并结合实际工程经验给出了相应的对策，总结了一些与辐射防护要求相关的设计原则，供广大乏燃料后处理厂房的建筑设计师参考借鉴。
